Seattle's Best ♥

My colleagues and I went to Seattle's Best last Tuesday to grab some merienda before heading home. It was around 4pm when we arrived and it wasn't that crowded.

We have ordered their Big Breakfast 2, Pancakes & Bacon, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Java Chip Javacula.

Big Breakfast 2 (Egg, cocktail sausages, bacon strips, pancakes, and fruit marmalade). This was really a big breakfast plate for me. This is good for sharing up to 3 persons.

Blueberry Cheesecake - Php 145.00

The Java Chip Javakula was too sweet for me. I was expecting it to be a bit bitter like the Java Chip of Starbucks.

I would definitely be back for their food and not for their beverages.

Hoy, Panga!

It was already 1pm when we decided to have our lunch at Hoy Panga (last June 8, 2016) since it was right beside our office. They were actually closed at that time due to some water shortage and their kitchen was not available. We talked to the receptionist and asked if she would allow us to eat since we were hungry. It was just a split second when their water delivery finally came and we were able to order :)

Hoy Panga is the restaurant which came all the way from the South, the land of our President Elect Duterte that offers juicy grilled tuna panga, belly, and other tuna specialties at an affordable price. Even available for deliveries, having express take out counters as well. They also have their popular brilliantly thought of all original "SIONGA" (Siopao na Panga ng Tuna).

The simplicity of their place is what I liked the most. It maybe small but clean. They even turned their wall into menu board.

Grilled Tuna Belly (Large) - Php 385.00

Their grilled tuna belly was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender and juicy.

Grilled Panga (Large) - Php315.00

Everything was well cooked and served. Overall, if I will rate them, and 10 being the highest, I'll give them an 8 :)

Meat Depot ♥

Craving for steak?! There is one place that offers quality but not so expensive steak. Meat Depot is a wholesale and retail meat shop where you can choose your own steak and style of cooking. They have two branches, one located in BF Homes, Parañaque and the other in one Banawe, Quezon City.

Last week (June 2, 2016) we went to Meat Depot to celebrate the birthday of my officemate. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by the staff and one of them assisted us in the process of ordering and helped us choose among the meats displayed in their chillers.

We ordered our favorite lamb chops, angus beef, and their roast beef. They have their Self-Service Form where you write how you want your meat done whether it's rare, medium rare, medium well, and well done. You just have to add Php100 for the cooking charge. For the Sauce, there's Spicy pepper, mushroom gravy, or cream sauce. As for the side dish there's mashed potatoes, fries, or rice.

Here's what we ordered : 

I love how they cook the meat! Especially it's my first time to try their roast beef since I usually order the lamb chops, the balance of salt and pepper with their steak was really good. Their mushroom gravy suits it as well.

You can also buy your meats here just like in the supermarket at a very affordable price :)

Ooops, because it's one of my colleagues birthday celebration, we bought her a cake from Starbucks :)

Overall, it was an awesome dining experience even if it was already my third time here and we will be back to try more of their steaks :)

Sora Bulalo ♥

Last night, while waiting for the traffic to dissipate, me and my colleagues decided to grab a bite first. Since we were all craving for bulalo, we went to this place called Sora Bulalo to indulge until our heart's content.

The place was too small but cozy. I like the ambiance (with a wooden theme & design from their park tables to benches plus some artsy wall decorations).

We ordered the Groupie Meal No. 5 for P703 (Super Bulalo, Lechon Kawali, Lumpiang Shanghai, 4 pcs of rice, and 1 pitcher of iced tea). I've eaten from a couple of restaurants at Tagaytay that offers bulalo. For me, their Bulalo was the best.

Pasta Roni ♥

Each week, we always look forward to our huddle...not because of each team's updates but for the FREE food. (haha, just kiddin') So last week, we went to Pasta Roni since it was the closest restaurant from our office.

Here's what we ordered

Italian Sausage Pizza - P295

Roasted Vegetable (eggplant, zucchini, artichoke, feta cheese) - P345

Their Italian Sausage Pizza is the best using fresh ingredients with a great crust and just the right amount of cheese. Highly recommended.

Salmon Linguine (smoked salmon, spinach) - P260

Spaghetti Aglio Olio (garlic, fresh herbs, fresh mushrooms) - P180

Linguine Puttanesca (achovies, olives, capers, anchovy-stuffed olives) - P220

Among their pasta, my favorite is the Linquine Puttanesca. The Spaghetti Aglio Olio is also a great choice but there were some portion of it that were dry and bland.

Chunky Choco Fudge - P120

If you are looking for a cozy and a place for intimate meals with family, friends, and co-workers, this is a perfect place. Highly recommended. Great food! The prices are very reasonable and all their staff were friendly. I'll definitely be back :)
